Royals out score Detroit 5-3 Featured

The Kansas City Royals out scored the Detroit Tigers 5-3 Thursday night.

Ryan O'Hearn, Franchy Cordero and Salvador Perez drove in the first 3 runs. Bubba Starling doubled to drive in the last 2 runs in the 8th inning. Greg Holland earned the win and Trevor Rosenthal picked up his first save of the season.

Friday night the Royals host the Chicago White Sox in their home opener. Kris Bubic makes his major league debut. He will be the starting pitcher for the Royals. First pitch is set for 7:05p.The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 6:30p.
