After two straight nights of thunderstorm activity, we could see more storms Saturday night.

Currently, there is a marginal risk of hail and high wind if storms develop by evening. Overall storm chances are low as well.

This follows activity between midnight and sunrise Saturday. Osage County residents had several severe thunderstorm warnings overnight with no actual severe weather reports. A severe thunderstorm watch issued for the area was canceled well before it was set to expire, and a flash flood watch for Osage and Wabaunsee counties was also canceled early.

More widespread activity hit the area Thursday night, bringing heavy rain, hail up to ping pong ball size and wind gusts up to 70 mph to area towns.
