Search for Michael Vance now nationwide

Earlier this week, we told you about the search for Oklahoma double-murder suspect Michael Vance as Lyon County authorities asked you to be on the lookout. The search for Vance is now a national manhunt.

The FBI and US Marshals are now leading the search for Vance, who allegedly shot two police officers in Wellston, Okla., before killing and trying to dismember two family members and then shooting two other people. Vance was last seen Monday near Sayre, Okla.

Authorities say Vance may be anywhere in the country -- if he's alive. Vance was apparently shot during the initial encounter with Wellston Police, and he displayed his wound as he live-streamed his escape on social media.

Vance, 38, of Chandler, Okla., is listed as a Native American male, 5-foot-8 and 212 pounds. Authorities also say he has an unspecified medical condition and may try to spread disease. Vance was charged in June with rape, sodomy and lewd acts with a minor for an alleged incident with a 15-year-old girl.

Vance is considered armed and extremely dangerous. He may have an AK47 assault rifle or similar weapon in his possession. If you have any information, call 911
