
According to the Osage County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Trivette Alvarado and 21-year-old Aaron Griffith have been charged in Osage County District Court with 33 counts of burglary to a vehicle, 26 counts of theft and two counts of criminal damage to property. The incidents stemmed from a total of 29 car burglaries that occurred in Scranton, Carbondale and Overbrook.
Alvarado and Griffith were transported Tuesday from Shawnee County to the Osage County Jail in Lyndon with each being held on $25,000 cash bond. The third suspect's name is being withheld until officers can make the arrest.
A first court appearance date is currently pending for both suspects.
