These are the rainfall totals reported to KVOE News as of 4 p.m. Monday.

KVOE Studios - .40 inches
NE Weaver - .50 inches
Southeast Emporia - .90 inches

The best chances for additional showers and thunderstorms continues through Tuesday and Wednesday with more chances also possible heading into late this week. As for mitigating our ongoing drought, that may not happen right away. TV-13 Meteorologist Doug Meyers tells KVOE News we are almost six inches below our normal rainfall just since June. Looking back to January, the deficit is now nine inches.

If you have rain totals this week, call KVOE at 342-1400 or message the Bluestem Farm and Ranch text line at 620-342-5863.
