Oklahoma ran over Kansas 44-7 Saturday in big 12 football action. Sooners running back Samaje Perine rushed for an NCAA record 427 yards and scored 5 touchdowns.
The Emporia State womens cross country team wrapped up their season at the Central Regional meet Saturday. The Lady Hornets had only 4 runners compete. Emily Schoenfeld finished in 52nd place and was the lead runner for Emporia State. Taylor Stueve finished 132nd, Kayla Lansing 144th and Lindsay Cuadra finished 178th.

The Olpe Eagles have advanced to the 2-1A State football championship game after defeating Troy 36-28 in the sub-state game Friday night.
It was a cold night shooting for the Kansas State Wildcats Friday night in their 69-60 loss at Long Beach State. The Wildcats shot 32 percent from the floor is suffering their first loss of the season. Thomas Gipson led K-State in scoring with 13 points. Nino Williams finished with 12 points. The Wildcats will play Purdue in the Maui Invitional on Monday.
The Emporia State womens cross country team will be running in the NCAA Central Regional meet today at Wayne, Nebraska. The top four teams and the top three individuals that are not a part of a qualifying team will advance to the NCAA Division II Championships.
