Emporia High Cross Country teams host meet Featured

Another personal best for Emporia High cross country runner Treyson True at the Emporia High invitational Saturday.

The senior finished in 2nd place but his time of just over 16 minutes was his best time for the Jones Park course.

Jonathan Laudie finished in 9th place. Tyler Proehl and Caden Wilson finished in the 28th and 29th place. Luke Wullschleger finished in 35th place. As a team the Emporia High boys finished in 4th place. Manhattan won both the boys and girls titles.
The Emporia High girls finished in 5th place. Freshman Micah Sheffy-Harris led the Emporia High girls finishing in 10th place.

Taryn West finished in 13th place, Avery Gutierrez finished in 27th place, Sofia Ruvalcaba finished in 31st place and Miranda Taylor finished in 40th place.
