The Kansas State mens basketball team overcame a slow start to pick up their first win of the season 71-63 over Oral Roberts Wednesday night.
The Wildcats trailed 16-4 with 11 minutes to play in the first half. They would go on a 12-1 run to take an 18-17 lead. Freshman Marcus Foster led the charge scoring 10 of those points. He would finish with 25 points becoming the first freshman since Michael Beasley to score 25 points in a game. The Wildcats are now 1-1 on the season they will host Long Beach State Sunday afternoon.
