Emporia State soccer wins final home match

Emporia States soccer team rolled to a 6-1 win over Missouri Southern in their final home match of the season.

 

McKenzie Koch scored the first goal 10 minutes into the match. Shannon Thomas scored 2 goals in the first half less then 1 minute apart.

 

 

 

 

 

Bridget Wages gave the Lady Hornets a 4-0 lead at halftime. In the second half Jordan Foutch and Bridget Wages scored unassisted goals.

With the win the Lady Hornet soccer team is now 8-6-2 for the season and 4-3-2 in MIAA play. They close out the regular season Friday at Northeastern State and Sunday at Central Oklahoma.
