Chiefs only undefeated NFL team

The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 7-0 Sunday with a 17-16 win over the Houston Texans, they are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL.

 

Jamaal Charles scored on a 1 yard run and Alex Smith scored on a 5 yard run to give the Chiefs a 14-10 lead at the half.

Ryan Succop added a 22 yard fieldgoal in the 3rd quarter and the Chiefs defense held on the rest of the way. Tamba Hali finished with 2.5 quarterback sacks, the biggest coming with under 2 minutes to play and forced a fumble that was recovered by Derrick Johnson. That allowed the Chiefs to run out the clock for the win. The Chiefs host the Cleveland Browns next Sunday.

The Denver Broncos suffered their first loss of the season last night. The Indianapolis Colts out scored the Broncos 39-33.
