Royals shutout Birds

The Kansas City Royals shutout the Baltimore Orioles 1-0 Saturday behind the pitching of Danny Duffy.

Duffy had a perfect game going until the 7th inning when Adam Jones broke up the no hitter with a single. The Royals scored in the first inning as Nori Aoki singled, stole second base and scored on Billy Butlers single. The hit snapped an 0-for-10 skid for Butler. Greg Holland earned the save after he loaded the bases in the top of the 9th. The Royals and Baltimore close out their 4 game series Sunday afternoon in Kansas City.
