Emporia State walks off with win over Central Missouri

The Emporia State baseball team walked off Glennen field with a 4-3 win over Central Missouri Tuesday night.

 

The Hornets took a 1-0 in the first inning when Wade Hanna scored on a Toby Cornejo single. Central would score 3 runs in the 4th to take a 3-1 lead. Emporia State tied the game in the 8th on a Dean Long 2 run homerun. In the bottom of the 9th Justin Harris would score after reaching on an error followed by back to back walks and a Levi Parker chopper in front of home plate.

The Hornets now prepare for a 4 game series with Washburn beginning Friday.
