The Emporia High girls tennis team hosted a 5 team tournament Monday. The Lady Spartans finished in a tie for 3rd place. Olathe East finished in 1st place. Washburn Rural was 2nd. Emporia High and Manhattan tied for 3rd place. Wichita Southeast finished in 5th place. Individually Seki Anderson, playing number 1 singles finished 2nd place, winning 3 of 4 matches played. The number 2 doubles team of Hayley Spellman and Mazie Kolterman finished in 2nd place, winning 3 of 4 matches played. Kathryn Kienholtz, playing number 2 singles, finished in 4th place. The number 1 doubles team of Ashten Scheller and Chelsea Herrarte finished in 4th place. Emporia High hosts another tournament Tuesday.
