KSHSAA Classifications released

The KSHSAA Classifications for 2013-14 are out. Emporia High stays in 5A. Highland Park returns to 5A and Wichita Heights drops down to 5A. Three area teams do move, Burlington moves up to 4A, Olpe to 2A and Marais Des Cygnes Valley moves to 1A.
The Football classifications for 2014 and 2015 have also been released. Emporia High stays in 5A. Bonner Springs, Leavnworth, St. James Academy, Maize, Maize South and Wichita Heights are new to 5A. 3 area schools will change classifications: Waverly moves to 8-man DI, Burlington will be a part of the new 4A Division II and Mission Valley drops to 2-1A.
