Emporia State track teams take first at St. Cloud

The Emporia State track and field teams finished in first place at a meet hosted by St. Cloud State Saturday. They finished with a combined 14 first place finishes.

 

The Men were powered by 8 first place finishes. Ryan Dickson won the 60 meter Dash. Duke Tibbs had the fastest time in the 200 meter dash. Grady Goff took first in the 600 meter run. Daniel Claassen won both the 800 and mile runs. Jordan Manning took first in the high jump. Jonathan Wernli won the triple jump. The 4 by 400 relay team of Payson Maydew, Duke Tibbs, Ryan Dickson and Ashton Proctor took first. The women had 6 first place finishes. Nikki Wetstein won both the 60 meter hurdles and triple jump. Morgan Brant won the high jump, Maggie Wilson won the pole vault, Taylor Stueve (Stevie) won the 800 meter run and Morgan Gilliland won the weight throw.
