Naadir Tharpe scored 21 points helping lead 18 Kansas to an 80-78 win over Oklahoma State Saturday.
The Jayhawks led by 19 points in the game before Oklahoma State staged a late run. Tharpe also finished with six assists. Joel Embiid scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and had a career-high eight blocked shots. Oklahoma State was led by Phil Forte with 23 points, hitting 7-of-10 3-point shots. Marcus Smart ended with 16 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Markel Brown added 15 points for the Cowboys. Kansas hosts Baylor Monday night.
