Kansas State picked up their 14th win of the season Saturday out scoring West Virginia 78-56.
It was a close first 5 minutes before the Wildcats went on a 14-4 run to take an 8 point lead and never trailed the rest of the way. They would lead by as many as 25 in the second half. Thomas Gipson and Shane Southwell both scored 20 points to lead Kansas State. Marcus Foster was the only other Wildcat to score in double-figures with 15 points. Kansas State improves to 14-4 for the season and 4-1 in the Big 12. They will play at Texas Tuesday night.
