Kansas State arrived in Arizona Monday to put the final touches on preparing for the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. The Wildcats will face Michigan Saturday night.
Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner likely will miss the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl with a turf toe injury if he doesn't return to practice by Wednesday, according to coach Brady Hoke. Gardner, who sustained the injury to his left foot in Michigan's regular-season finale against Ohio State, exited the team plane Monday afternoon on crutches and wearing a walking boot. He did not practice Monday. Hoke said freshman Shane Morris, who has been working with the starting offense throughout bowl practices, would start at quarterback against Kansas State if Gardner cannot.
