Hornets roll to win over Southeastern Oklahoma St

The Emporia State mens basketball team used a 30-3 run in the second half to turn a 1 point lead into a 28 point lead and cruised to a 81-66 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State Friday night.

The Hornets used a full court press to power the run. Coach Shaun Vandiver says that defense has been in the works.

Terrence Moore helped lead the offense with 15 points. He also had 3 steals and 5 assists.

Jevon Taylor added 15 points hitting 5 of 7 3 point shots. Kaleb Wright finished with 14 points making 4 - 3 point shots. Paul Bunch scored 10 points. With the win the Hornets are now 6-2 on the season. They will play St. Marys Saturday night with tip-off set for 7:30p.
