Pepe Le Pew………..What to do if you or your dog gets SKUNKED!

A little tip that really works if you or your dog experience a skunk encounter of the third kind.

A skunk’s offensive odor is very irritating and can linger for a long time on cloths, collars, equipment and pets.

Common remedies such as treating with regular shampoos, tomato juice and vinegar really don’t do the best job. I find a simple solution of 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda and 1 teaspoon liquid soap works wonders.

Where your pet is concerned, wet the animal down and work the mixture through its hair. Leave on for three or four minutes, then rinse.

Double the recipe for bigger breeds.
