NRH named a 2018 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital

Newman Regional Health has received some more good news.

The hospital this week was named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. CEO Bob Wright says the announcement is a reflection of the dedication to care the hospital continues to put forth.

Newman Regional Health scored in the top 100 of Critical Access Hospitals on iVantage Health Analytics Hospitals Strength Index. The index measures pillars of hospital strength including inpatient share ranking, outpatient share ranking, cost, charge, quality, outcomes, patient perspective and financial stability.

The announcement comes in the midst of technology upgrades and its ongoing ER project which is in the early stages. This is the third year in a row the hospital has received a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital designation.
