Greenwood County deputies seeking thief who stole USD 389 truck Thursday

Greenwood County deputies have fleshed out their description of a pickup truck stolen from Eureka High School on Thursday.



Deputies are looking for a 1997 GMC single-cab, long-bed pickup that is owned by the Eureka School District. The pickup is light blue in color with a diamond-plate toolbox in the bed. The rear bumper is heavily rusted. The truck also has a USD 389 sticker in the rear window, but that may be faded.

A suspect description is pending.

Greenwood County deputies are asking for help in finding a stolen Eureka School District vehicle. 

A news release from the Sheriff's Office says a single-cab, long-bed pickup belonging to USD 389 Eureka was reported stolen from Eureka High just before 2 pm Thursday. The pickup is light blue in color with a diamond-plate toolbox in the bed. The rear bumper is heavily rusted. The truck also has a USD 389 sticker in the rear window, but that may be faded.
