With their Kettle Campaign on track the Salvation Army have added another doubler day.
Cpt. Deb Thompson of the Salvation Army spoke to KVOE and shared an anonymous donor has pledged to match donations up to $1,000 on Saturday December 23rd.
The Salvation Army is currently at 35 percent of their annual goal thanks to a successful weekend. The third doubler day this year brought in a total of $2,496 Friday thanks to Scott Strahm of BLI rentals matching donations. Saturday saw $2,180 raised from the annual battle of the badges.
The addition of the 23rd now leaves two doubler days on the calendar with the fourth doubler day taking place this Saturday with donations being matched by Brock and Mary Kretsinger. The Lions Club will also match donations up to $500 the same day.
