A posh party benefited Plumb Place this weekend

The Emporia Arts Council was host to a very posh event this weekend.
Plumb Place put on its first Posh Promenade fundraiser event Sunday afternoon.  The event saw live music, wine, food and a special fashion show which featured special model and Plumb Place interim director Clara Corn.
Corn spared a moment before taking the stage and shared her expectations of the event.
The fashion show featured clothing lines from local establishments including Brown's Shoes, Goddess Dress Parties, Mohn Standard and Lula Roe.
Throughout the event those in attendance were treated to live harp music and a special violin duet by members of the ESU music department.  All proceeds from the promenade will go to benefit plumb place's effort to upgrade their resource room.
