One person was injured Monday evening after a rollover crash in southern Lyon County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Chevy Impala was southbound on Highway 99 about four miles south of Olpe, when it struck a deer, crossed the roadway and entered the east ditch. The vehicle rolled 2.5 times landing on its roof.
The driver, 56-year-old Ronald Wilson of Hamilton, was transported to Newman Regional Health with unknown injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. A passenger, 52-year-old Shellie Wilson of Hamilton was restrained and did not suffer an injury.
