Perry sentenced to more than 11 years for robbery and burglary charges

An Alabama man has been sentenced to 11 years behind bars for his role in a January aggravated robbery and burglary in Lyon County.
Jacob Paul Perry was sentenced Friday to 122 months for the charge of robbery and 11 months for the charge of burglary. He also must serve 24 months of post-release supervision and pay $1,000 in restitution.
Perry is convicted of breaking into a house in BETO Junction and robbing a man at gunpoint on Jan. 17 before leading a chase toward Emporia. 
Perry now awaits sentencing in Coffey County where he pleaded no contest to aggravated robbery on Thursday. Sentencing there is scheduled for Aug. 31 at 11 a.m.
