Antiquing has the spotlight at the Lyon County Fair

Lyon County Fair's Spotlight Event has a changing theme every year, this year it was Antique Road Show.
Rhonda Gordon, Kansas State Lyon County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Science, was happy to see that the event drew a mixed crowd of people.
Gordon said that the antiquing is appealing to many people because it does not require skill to participant. One participant, Tina Terp, told KVOE about the unique Michael Jackson dolls she has.
Terp said that she was more interested in finding out about the history of her items, rather than the monetary value. The event featured 5 local appraisers that volunteered for the event.
