Things are wrapping up soon for the Harvest Home Festival and Benefit Auction organized every year by Messiah Lutheran Church.

Time is running short to participate. Remaining jams and jellies can be bought at Messiah Lutheran from 2-7 pm Friday, and the same goes for silent auction items. The online auction at www.messiahlutheran.org ends at 1 pm Saturday, as does the raffle for the Travis Kelce jersey, Tyreek Hill jersey and Patrick Mahomes mini-helmet.

Organizer Donna Spain says things have gone well, and there are some conversations already underway about the look of next year's event.

Conversations on new formats began in early October, and the committee came up with three options before deciding on a fully-online auction late last month.

Proceeds benefit the Emporia Senior Center, Plumb Place, Salvation Army and Abundant Harvest.
