Hopkins Manufacturing to open distribution center in Edgerton

Hopkins Manufacturing Corporation has announced plans to open a new distribution center in Edgerton to support continued growth.


A release from the company, issued Friday, states that the new facility will open up in June and is located in the Edgerton Inland Port VIII at the Logistics Park, adjacent to the BNSF Intermodal Facility. First shipments are expected to follow shortly after the facility opens.

Hiring is already underway and the facility is expected to employ over 100 team members.

Hopkins was founded in 1953 in Emporia and has grown into one of the largest automotive and RV aftermarket suppliers through acquisition and organic growth. Products currently being distributed from several Hopkins facilities including a portion from Emporia will be distributed from Edgerton.
