FHTC opens doors to community

The Flint Hills Technical College held their annual open house on Saturday with an extra goal in mind.

Obviously, they hope to attract potential students, but this year they welcomed the entire community to see what happens at the main campus.

Vice President of Student Services Lisa Kirmer says it's interesting to see how everything works.

New this year was an inflatable obstacle course and a car show. Snacks were provided by the culinary arts students and interested students could also see admissions and financial aid presentations.
