Nearly a month after the Turner family of networks went dark on CableONE locally, an agreement has been reached so area residents can enjoy those channels again.
Local general manager Joe Michaels says an agreement was reached late Friday between the cable provider and network. Terms have not been released and it's unclear exactly when those channels -- including TBS, TNT, CNN, Headline News and Cartoon Network -- will be available.
Turner had wanted a 50-percent increase in its fees from CableONE even with ratings declining. At the time, Michaels said an increase in that neighborhood would have to be passed on to subscribers. CableONE was providing automatic credits to its customers because they couldn't enjoy those channels.
