ESU dorms bursting at seams

Classes begin Monday at Emporia State University, and the campus residence hall rooms are all spoken for.

Spokesperson Gwen Larson says this is certainly uncomfortable for students now scrambling to find living arrangements, but it's a good problem to have for ESU.

Enrollment numbers don't come out until next month, but Larson says it's a sign of a "positive" enrollment report. Last year, fall enrollment climbed almost 170 students to go above 6,000.

Official move-in activities take place Thursday and Friday. KVOE will broadcast live from the move-in activities starting at 7:30 am Thursday and at 9:30 am Friday.
