Residents of Lyon and surrounding counties avoided a severe weather risk for a third straight day.
Showers and embedded thundershowers now cover much of the area with moderate to heavy rainfall.
Hail and high winds were the main concerns with a hot, humid atmosphere and several waves of energy moving through that during the weekend. A cold front was also supposed to trigger stronger thunderstorms Monday. In all three cases, there was severe weather but not for the area.
