Any risk of severe weather across the area for Saturday is diminishing now that a second round of storms has pushed through.
Showers, heavy at times, moved through the area around sunrise, with a second round pushing through by afternoon. The KVOE studios received 0.25 inches of rain during the early-morning activity and another 0.10 inches early Saturday afternoon. Other reports:

Storms return to the forecast Monday, with more isolated chances of storms through the upcoming week.

*Rawhide Wranglers has postponed their Lyon County Open Youth Rodeo at the Lyon County Fairgrounds because of wet conditions and the threat of more rain. A reschedule date has not been announced.
