UPDATE: Quenemo woman found alive southeast of her home

The missing woman from Quenemo was found alive Friday morning.

Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn says 45-year-old Judy Lamberd was found walking near the Osage-Franklin county line southeast of Quenemo shortly after 9 am. No foul play is suspected.

Lamberd went missing from her Quenemo home around 8 pm, with authorities asked to search for her shortly before midnight. Deputies from Osage and Franklin counties helped with the search, as did the Melvern and Overbrook police departments, six rural Osage County fire departments, the Pomona Fire Department, Osage County Emergency Management and Osage County Road and Bridge. The Kansas Highway Patrol also conducted an air search Thursday night and early Friday before authorities took a short break.
