Gator Rally III ended Saturday, and the five-night push into the Flint Hills to raise money for charity will be the biggest one of the three.
PrairieLand Partners John Deere has organized the event all three years, and general manager Paul duToit says the event sold out every night.

Funds raised this year will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Flint Hills, the Emporia Senior Center and CALM, a new agency for foster children. Last year, the Gator Rally raised money for the David Traylor Zoo and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
DuToit says the Gator Rally has drawn PrairieLand Partners closer to the event sponsors, but also closer to the community. Employees volunteer their time to organize the Gator Rally and also volunteer each night to prepare for the event and clean up afterward.
