A frontal boundary is sagging southward and storms fired late Saturday evening in western Kansas, pushing eastward at this time. National Weather Service meteorologist Johy Woynick says strong or severe thunderstorms are possible through sunrise.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Chase and Greenwood counties and others to our west until 5 am.
