Hopkins Manufacturing starts Canada operations

Hopkins Manufacturing is establishing operations north of the border.

The towing product and accessories supplier based in Emporia is building a division in Canada after buying Mallory Industries last summer. Mallory makes winter tools and automotive squeegees in Canada, and the decision to rename the brand Hopkins Canada was part of company strategy to expand its presence, according to Hopkins President and CEO Brad Kraft.

Hopkins also says the move will also make it easier for both Canadian and European customers to purchase other Hopkins products.

Hopkins was established in 1953 and announced a marketing partnership with RainX a year ago.
