Second and third place finishers won a Visa gift card from Emporia State Federal Credit Union. Those went to Bill and Ola Mae Redding. This year's Beat the Bracket Challenge started on March 17, with completed brackets due by March 20. Buzz words were read on the air through April, and listeners could earn bonus points by calling in and providing their buzz words. Dreiling won with 99 points.

Sutherland's was one of this year's sponsors for the challenge. Supervisor Eric Lord says it's the perfect time of year to stop by the store.
