Shooting suspect still at large, incident details not yet released

The hunt for a suspect continues after two people were killed and a third gravely wounded near Eureka on Wednesday night.

Greenwood County Sheriff Rusty Bitler is not confirming reports on where the shooting happened or what prompted deputies to head to the residence in question. He does say the shooting happened at a house outside Eureka, where deputies found the victims.

The person who survived was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment and is in serious condition, according to Bitler.

No names have been released pending family notification.

Bitler says the suspect is 35-year-old Kevin Robert Welsh, who is six feet tall and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black tank top and blue jeans.
