So far, light snowfall across the KVOE listening area turned out to be more of a nuisance than anything else.
Light snow worked its way south as part of a fairly wide band through the morning, reaching Emporia during the noon hour. Less than an inch has accumulated so far, and there has been no icing with temperatures approaching 40 degrees. No visibility problems have been reported.
Temperatures will bottom out in the low 20s Monday night before going back into the mid-40s Tuesday. Temperatures will improve to the low 60s Wednesday before a chance of storms Wednesday night and Thursday.
