'Bowling for Bentley' generates $10K

The second annual "Bowling for Bentley" fundraiser did quite well for the Ronald McDonald House over the weekend.

Bentley Clark's mom, Shelby, says the fundraiser generated over $10,000 -- on par with last year.

Bentley Clark was born on Veterans Day 2012, but developed two blood clots -- one before he was born, one afterward -- and passed away in late November 2012. The Clark family spent time at a Ronald McDonald House in Kansas City while Bentley underwent several surgeries, including one to install an artificial heart.

Clark said it made sense to raise money for the facility because it was such a big help to them, and it made sense to have a bowling fundraiser because her husband, Johnny, is an avid bowler.
