One Emporia resident was hurt in a single-vehicle crash Sunday.

The time of this accident is unknown, but according to Kansas Turnpike crash logs, 41-year old Diana Hernandez-Nolasco was traveling westbound on Interstate 70, when she lost control of her Ford Expedition while attempting to avoid another unrelated wreck near milepost 205 in Douglas County. Her SUV overturned in the process.

Hernandez-Nolasco was not hurt, but a passenger in her vehicle, 29-year old German Hernandez of Emporia, was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. The hospital has not released his condition.
