A long stretch of U.S. Highway 75 in Osage County will see repairs beginning Thursday.
Northbound traffic will be constrained to one lane from the U.S. 56 junction north all the way into Topeka, with southbound traffic going down to one lane on March 20. This will allow contract crews to replace all bridge approach pavement on seven bridges and add an 1.5-inch asphalt overlay northbound -- along with milling and overlaying the southbound lane.
Total anticipated cost is over $6 million. Work should be done by mid-July, weather permitting.
