Personal testimony and worship highlight Shiloh Harmony of Hope event

Worship and testimony was the main purpose of Friday's Shiloh Harmony of Hope at Victory Fellowship Church.

Local worship bands filled the church with songs of praise during the sixth annual event. Accompanying the music were testimonies from some of the girls staying at Shiloh.

A woman named "Laura" was standing up and speaking for the first time about her experience at Shiloh. She was nervous to talk to KVOE News, let alone a crowd, so we asked Laura what her goal was for speaking to the crowd during Harmony of Hope.

Laura said she hopes her story lets people know that no one's immune to the same issues she faced. Several local churches and praise bands participated in this event, and donations were being accepted.

Shiloh serves women and children in crisis situations, including former human trafficking victims -- a topic of the event. For more information, contact Carol Alderman at 342-2244.
