CROP Walk benefits Abundant Harvest, Salvation Army

The annual CROP Walk atrracted 41 walkers Sunday afternoon and raised over $900.

Musical entertainment for the volunteers and walkers was provided by the First United Methodist Praise Band. 

CROP Walk co-chair June Hubert said the final total will be known early this week.  An outreach project of Church World Service, 25 percent of the proceeds from the Walk will remain in Emporia for the Salvation Army and Abundant Harvest.

The walk began and ended at the First United Methodist Church.
