Lyon County commissioners have released the agenda for their action meeting Thursday, but one item not presently listed on the document may set the stage for possible federal relief money should enough damage be noted from a winter storm earlier this week.
Not currently on the agenda but up for discussion is a possible resolution issuing a state of disaster emergency for the county after Gov. Sam Brownback issued a similar declaration for the entire state Tuesday.
Meanwhile, commissioners will discuss a request for proposals as the Road and Bridge Department prepares for so-called "fracture-critical" bridge inspections later this year. They will also field the expense comparison report for 2012 and 2013.
In other business, commissioners will discuss a Healthy Families Outreach contract between the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Flint Hills Community Health Center-Lyon County Health Department.
The meeting starts at 8 am inside the County Courthouse.
