Kramer also coached at Southern Oregon and Austin College, amassing a 127-120-6 overall record in 28 years as head coach. He ended his coaching career as an offensive line coach under Bill Snyder at Kansas State from 1995-1997 after Snyder served as Kramer's assistant at Austin College in 1974 and 1975.
