Osage City Airport is receiving state funds to enhance safety and service.
KDOT announced the airport is receiving over $340,000 to repair, seal and mark the airfield pavements as well as replace aprons at the facility.
KDOT's Aviation Division received almost 100 applications for projects totaling $35 million. Facilities receiving these funds are required to pay anywhere from 10 to 50 percent of the total project costs based on the work category.
Osage City's matching amount has not been released.
