Emporia city commissioners will tackle a wide range of items when they meet in study session this week.
Commissioners will start by discussing the so-called "Far West" sewer project, focusing on a possible connection for PrairieLand Partners John Deere at U.S. Highway 50 and Road "F."
Commissioners will also review the master park plan and a water rights report before discussing a proposal to join the Flint Hills Economic Development, possibly combining economic strengths with several neighboring counties like Chase, Morris and Wabaunsee.
Commissioners are set to end their meeting with a discussion of the quarterly appropriation report third draft.
The meeting starts at 9:30 am at White Auditorium City Conference Room 1 AB and will be followed by a service award luncheon for city employees.
